The collective Computer Spirit preparing for their show Streymi#3 / Stream#3 in the Living Art Museum, 2018.

Computer Spirit is the informal title of a female artist collective that worked together from 2015–2018. Their artistic research runs as electric lines that bring together various threads from the worlds of art, the elements, multidimensional mediums, and magic. Their fluid collective consisted of curatorial projects and artworks at Fjöltengi in Ekkisens (Reykjavík, 2015), Kynleikar in Ekkisens, Reykjavík City Hall and Tjarnarbíó (Reykjavík, 2015), Stream in a Puddle at Gallerii Metropol (Tallinn Art Week, Estonia, 2016), Computer Spirit at Kurant and Gallery Port (Tromsø, Norway, and Reykjavík, 2018), Streymi#3 at The Living Art Museum (Reykjavík, 2018), and the release of the art magazine Listvísi (2015–2016). Through exhibiting and working at Ekkisens, the group was brought together, and their collaboration became a three-year research project that was crystallized between the four members.

Computer Spirit er óformlegt heiti á kollektífi myndlistarkvennanna sem streymdu saman í lífi og starfi á árunum 2015-2018. Listrænar rannsóknir þeirra voru fasafléttur sem leiddu saman snúrur úr heimum myndlistar, frumefna, fjölvíddar og galdurs. Fljótandi samstarf þeirra spannaði t.a.m. sýningarstjórn og verk á Fjöltengi í Ekkisens (2015), Kynleikum (2015), Stream in a puddle (2016), Computer Spirit (2018) og útgáfu á tímaritinu Listvísi (2015-2016 ). Í gegnum sýningarstörf í Ekkisens lá leið hópsins saman og úr varð systrateymi sem spannaði þriggja ára samtal.
